Lake Moraine Falls, Banff National Park, Canada
Sold, Acrylic on canvas, Summer 2015
One day when we were driving back from Lake Moraine in Banff national park, I heard the loud sound of a river and tried to see it. It seemed a wild river its passing right down from the road. I knew That was a painting I always wanted to paint.
We went back another day and walked down a trail to find a spot for setting up my easel. There wasn"t much room but Philip does not give up easily.
I don"t know when I started that painting and when I finished it. The ound of the river was so loud and the force of it so strong that everything in the presence of it would melt and disappear and become one with it. I could paint there for ever.....
