Lake Peyto,Banff National Park, Canada
Acrylic on canvas, Summer 2015
I can say "Peyto lake " was the most beautiful of all the lakes I saw.
We were able to find a quiet corner in the woods and have a good view to this magnificient lake.
after helping me to set up my easel on a downward slope, Philip went for hike . I was left with a silence I don't remember the last time I had experienced. Once in a while sound of a passing bee or a bird calling its mate would bring me back to ground I was painting on. I wanted to stay ther for hours and paint one canvas after another. But I had just one canvas.
Leaving that spot that day was very hard for me. I felt like I have to cut off myself from a strong field of energy that was making me a part of itself.......
